Fuat Arslan graduated with high honors from the Department of Chemistry at Ankara University, Faculty of Science, in 1997. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous professional certification programs, congresses, exhibitions, and industry seminars in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, medical products, and cosmetics.
Following his graduation, he held key positions in production, quality control, and manufacturing management within the plastics, pharmaceutical, cleaning products, and cosmetics industries, building extensive technical and operational expertise.
In 2006, he founded AKS Kozmetik, which has grown into one of Turkiye’s leading contract manufacturing and product development companies in the cosmetics, dermocosmetics, medical devices, and hygiene sectors. Starting with private label manufacturing, AKS Kozmetik has successfully developed and produced products for more than 100 brands, contributing to the formulation, product development, and commercialization of many of Türkiye’s leading cosmetics companies.
Under his leadership, the company launched its own brands, including Mineaderm and Etesia, while continuously investing in innovation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Alongside his entrepreneurial career, Fuat Arslan has played a pivotal role in the development of the Cosmetics Manufacturers and Researchers Association (KUAD), Türkiye’s leading industry association representing the cosmetics sector. Since its establishment, he has actively contributed to the association’s growth through various leadership roles and currently serves as President of KUAD.
As President of KUAD, he has led numerous strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Türkiye’s cosmetics ecosystem, enhancing collaboration between industry, academia, and public institutions, and increasing the international competitiveness of Turkish cosmetics manufacturers.
For the past five years, he has served as Congress President and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Cosmetics Congress, Turkiye’s largest cosmetics industry event, bringing together leading manufacturers, researchers, regulators, and international stakeholders.
He also serves as Head of the KUAD Technical Commission, leading KUAD Academy training programs, the Cosmilife industry magazine, scientific committee activities, public affairs, and numerous national and international projects that support innovation, regulatory development, knowledge sharing, and the sustainable growth of Turkiye’s cosmetics industry.
